So what about poor Claire??? She is still in the Jungle. Doesn’t anybody care?Unbelievably, everyone has stopped looking for Claire. That just doesn’t make sense. It’ll come back and bite everyone in the ass, mark my words…
So instead, we return to Kate’s backstory. That girl is one crazy con. Through flashbacks we discover that she masterminded a bank robbery just to break into a safe deposit box (#815) to get what appears to be a tiny plastic plane. Crazee!
Tthe little plastic plane was inside a locked Haliburton case that her escort was carrying on the flight along with a few guns and cash. She and Sawyer found the case under water when they were not skinny dipping together near a newly discovered waterfall. If this was on Cable they would’ve totally been buck naked.
Anyway this episode was a tad disappointing. Here are a few other items of interest:
Boone and Locke are still trying to bust through that metal thing in the jungle, but they aren’t telling anyone what they found. Shannon asks Boone if Locke is his new boyfriend since they are spending so much time together. Is Boone Gay? I hope so because it would be hard to believe that a full plane headed to Los Angeles would not be carrying any Gays. C’mon LOST, you gave us one hispanic, how about a gay man?
Sayid asked Shannon to help him translate the French writing on the maps he took from the crazy scientist. The show ends with her singing some French song from a cartoon. She has a good voice.
Jack continues to be frustrated by Kate’s lack of honesty about her past. After he manages to open the secret case, he asks her what is inside the “personal effects” envelope. All she says is, “It belonged to the man I loved…killed.” Well that’s encouraging…
Oh well, hopefully the next episode will bring us back to poor Claire…
