Has it only been 5 episodes? It feels like 5 seasons already. Well we finally find out what’s eating Jack. He has daddy issues. Apparently his dad ran away from home and Jack was in Australia hunting him down on strict orders from his evil mother. (By the way his dad wasn’t so nice either. They were a match made in heaven.)
Eventually he did find him dead as a doorknob and was bringing his body home on the plane from Australia to Los Angeles. At least we now know where they were going. LA, baby!
Meanwhile, back on LOST Island, Jack stresses out after seeing the man in the white shoes again and chases him into the jungle only to discover that yes, the man is dear old dad. Jack freaks out.
And yes the water supply finally runs out after 6 days so Mr Magic, John Lock heads out to find some in the jungle because he apparently knows the secret of the Island and is feeling pretty full of himself especially after the “Boar killing” incident.
In the Jungle he rescues Jack from falling off a cliff. After that, Jack confesses his “hallucination” to John. John isn’t suprised because he knows the Island is magic and full of White Rabbits. That’s good because Charlie is sure to run out of drugs soon.

After a series of flashbacks showing Jack’s lack of decision making power, (daddy issues again) he reluctantly takes the leadership role on the Island. While looking for his dad in the jungle, he discovers another part of the plane strewn with dolls and his dad’s empty coffin.
The pregnant chick is named “Claire.” She and Charlie are getting closer. She is also an Astrologer.

I accidently peeked at my iTunes playlist and noticed that Said’s name is spelled Sayid. That can’t be right.
